Deco Art ADC-01 Americana Chalky Finish Paint, 8-Ounce, Everlasting

I've used two jars of the Annie Sloan chalk paint on different projects, so was reluctant to buy this brand, it being 3x's cheaper in cost compared to Annie Sloan. I was afraid the results would be less than par. But I read a positive review so gave it a try. To my surprise, it had FAR better coverage compared to the AS brand. Same exact dry time, end results etc. From now on I'll only use this brand. Plus I prefer the screw-on lid it has verses the regular paint can lid that you have to hammer closed. And working with the smaller jar was easier to handle as well. Save yourself money and quantity of paint having to apply less coats.

I loved the unique texture and added highligjts or sheen on my projects this product gave over the traditional useages of waxes and or glazes. It is very easy ro use and not messy what so ever! The extra demension possible to add applying little thicker gave my frames extra character and looks fabulous. It goes a long way for its' size and extra bonus how easy it is to clean off the brushes! I definately will use this again and recommend to any one . Even a beginner can successfully use this and will love the added touch!

I bought this product used, it came with an Amazon inspector label on it yet the bottle was pretty messy. Fortunately, the product inside was perfect. I used it on a craft project I was doing with great results. The coverage was smooth and easy to apply. This is the first time I have purchased a used product from Amazon, and I will definitely consider trying it again in the future.

I’ve used this chalk paint numerous times and have recommended it to friends and family. Wonderful product! I was recently able to paint a black desk white with only two coats. Love that you don’t need to sand before using. Easy to use.

I wanted to redo my fireplace for years but was too scared to try since I am NOT a crafty person. I finally bit the bullet and painted it one weekend when my husband was gone. I love the results! It brightened the room up so much! The first picture was while I was painting it so you can see the difference in brick colors, the second pic was last Christmas (2018) right after I had finished it. The third picture was today after a year to show the color still looks nice, but not quite as white anymore. I’m not sure if it has yellowed some or maybe soaked into the brick more. I am still happy with the results and love my fireplace.

The reason I gave it three stars is because when I opened the box Ithere was paint everywhere and I also got it all over me. They said they would take it back but upon looking at it it still had enough in the container so I cleaned it up and kept it. The paint is good to use I like it. I think they either need to make sure the lids are on tight or tape them.

…And it has really good coverage. It dries to the exact color as the swatch on the lid. Drying time is quick. I have bought this paint in a few different colors and I will continue to use on my various projects. My pieces (tables) that were done over a year ago are still holding up very well to use.

Great paint did a huge coffee table and tv unit with a few layers. Love the light Gray colour. Make sure you get it waxed straight away though the nature of the chalk paint makes it susceptible to sticky hand prints. Totally my fault however!

LOVE this chalk paint! I read lots of reviews and chose this one based on its good ratings. The jar is pretty small but it covers well. I got a good thick base layer on two chairs and half a table base with one, and just needed a light second coat/touch ups. Normal paint wouldn't stick to my chairs because of the varnish and I didn't want to spend forever sanding them, so I tried chalk paint. It worked great!! NO sanding or priming! You can thin it out with water as well. We used the white "everlasting" but I will definitely try out some other colours as well in the future.
