Good for beginner
Great welding rods! These 6013 electrodes strike easily, run smooth, and produce clean welds with minimal spatter. Perfect size for thinner metals and detail work—just what I needed for small repairs. Consistent quality across the pack, and they burn evenly every time. Reliable brand and excellent value—highly recommend for hobbyists and pros alike!

Absolutely Amazing For Welding Exhaust
I don't write reviews often but I was so blown away by these electrodes that I felt I had to. I can't be the only person trying to do exhaust work with a stick welder and let me tell you it's no easy chore. Yes I've been told by every source imaginable that mig is the go to for exhaust work. However with these electrodes makes it way more practical if you don't have a mig welder and works almost as well. Occasionally it will stick to the pipe you're welding, it's a very delicate process but once you get it going it works surprisingly well. Because the arc is so small you can't do it from a distance, get your head as close as possible. The electrodes are very thin and bend easily, I use two hands with gloves of course. One hand on the holder and the other about middle of the electrode and literally use it like a pencil drawing a bead very delicately. I never thought I could do it without risk of burning a hole in the material but these make it possible. Yes of course they can still burn a hole but as long you keep at a steady pace your good. There's no amperage spec on these but based on others of the same size were rated for I think 20 to 40. I did my exhaust work at or around 30 and though it stuck a few times but if I used it very precisely I could get a nice bead going. Having a welder with a digital meter helps so you can dial in the exact amperage for the material. Mig is still the best choice for exhaust but still was blown away by the performance of these with a stick welder. I genuinely thought you could never do it right with stick or that the welder would even work below 60 amps but I stand corrected and amazed. It can be done but takes high concentration and precision.

Great rods.
I really like this size. It's slightly larger than a 1/16, so you can put a little more heat into the weld. I feel like they're a bit easier to control for a 1/16 as well, and they're an incredible rod for very thin materials, as well as making tacks.

Great product / Horrible packaging
These are great & melt like butter at 40amps. Only thing, the packaging is non existent. Hard plastic shell encasing just thrown in a bag with a label slapped on.

great for small projects and lighter guage metal
I have the old school Lincoln stick welder (the big heavy Red thing) and was trying to do a repair on fixing some metal laundry baskets (why i don't just buy new ones?- well simply because i can fix them!-lol). anyway, the metal was a lighter gauge like 1/4" metal rods and i kept burning through the metal junction with the larger sticks. I am not a good welder at all, i can just make metal stick to each other. so i used these sticks and put setting on like 70amps or so and it worked pretty good. I am sure a mig welder would be the way to go, but i don't have one so that's where these smaller sticks worked well.

Good
They definitely work, and for the price, you can’t really beat it.

Great Sticks for the Price
I ordered two sizes but this review is for the 1/16th size. The sticks seem to be a good quality. I am pretty new at welding so not much to compare them to. I will update after a few more attempts. So far so good

Decent Electrodes but Inconsistent Performance
These electrodes work fine for light welding tasks, but they’re not the most reliable for more demanding jobs. They strike easily and produce a smooth arc, but the penetration is weaker than expected. I also noticed some inconsistency in the coating, leading to uneven welds. They’re decent for beginners or small projects, but there are better options for serious welding.

I own the cheapest "Mastercraft Arc Stick Welder". It has two settings, high, and low: The BOX says these are 75 and 50 amps respectively. It came with 6013 3/32 rods. I could not control my welds in either settings with those rods, so looked up the best choice on an online chart and landed on these 6013 5/64th... which were hard to find. These rods, ARE PREFECT for this crap welder, and sit in the perfect amperage range. Once purchased, my skill level shot up for 0 to 1 out of ten, to 5 or 6... functional, but sad... I would not have been able to fix my car, overhead, without them. The 3/32 rods, I burned though a whole box and barely made any progress... the 5/64s, 4 rods, and I was done the patch. The rods are consistent, uniform, and most importantly, I can use them at my skill level and with the equipment I own. Do you care? ABSOLUTELY NOT, because you probably already know how to weld, and find this story quaint or stupid.

Maravillosa soldadura, este calibre es muy útil. Recomiendo tenerla, uno no sabe cuándo la va a necesitar

Bought these to weld a cracked mower frame, thin gauge metal. Read online to use 1/16” 6013’s. The quantity was good. Don’t know when I will need these again and didn’t want a lot of them sitting around. They welded the crack (no comments on the weld job - this was my first time). I think I got good weld penetration, welded both sides. A bit of splatter but again it was my first time. Will buy them again.
