Description

General purpose gland packing rope for general plant service. VG1L is interbraided from continuous filament, textured air-blown glass fibres which are thoroughly impregnated with mineral oil lubricants and graphite. A dressing and corrosion inhibitor is further applied to the yarn to improve wear resistance. - Requires low gland pressure to seal, thus reducing shaft wear and gland maintenance - Glass fibres offer exceptional temperature resistance up to 480°C - General purpose packing for rotary and reciprocating pumps, mixers and valves, to seal against steam, water, oils, alkalis, mild acids and chemicals - Pressure rating: 150 Bar - Rotary speed: 10m/s - pH Range: 4-11
