Surfactant to increase the non-stick properties of surfaces
Bought originally only for restoring some lava lamps with the wax sticking to the inside of the glass globe. Turned out to be a great product for many other household surfaces and makes future cleaning of treated surfaces very easy to clean in comparison to previously untreated surfaces.

Contaminated
Yes it comes as a solid, I get that. Problem is when its heated up you will find strange brown fibers floating at the bottom, therefore it is contaminated. Seems to be a common issue. Im just using it for lava lamps so ill keep it, but I sure wouldn't use it for cosmetics.

Throat Irritation
I use it in my spray bottle of soap and water to make it more foamy. But the spray with thr sulfate makes me cough. I can feel it in my breathing.

Keeps ambient lamps clear!
I tried this as a last ditch attempt at fixing the cloudy water in my jellyfish lamp. If you have one of these lamps, you know that you're instructed to use dish soap to break the surface tension of the water for the jellies to float around. Problem is, it makes the water so scummy looking within a couple days. (Sometimes mere hours!) I saw people suggesting liquid SLS as an alternative on a lava lamp subreddit. It works! After thoroughly rinsing the lamp I added new distilled water and about ⅛ teaspoon of this SLS. The pics I've included is what it looks like a full week later.

Great for LAVA LAMPS
This product works great in my lava lamps teaspoon of sles and a teaspoon of distilled water...swish inside lamp and soak coil in it and wala...wax flows amazingly...if not add DROPS of mixture into the running lamp to get desired flow

This is a 240ml bottle of SLS liquid. I make my own cosmetics, some ordered it for that. The quality seems decent, but it is a bit pricey at £9.32. It is only a small amount. You can get it cheaper. 🙃

Not too sure of this product. First try didn't go well. I will persist after more knowledge.

Not much else you can say about a bottle of powder, it arrived properly sealed with clear plastic and a tamper-proof lid so you’ll know if it’s been messed with at all. My only real complaint is that the neck of the bottle used is very narrow, so you’re kind of forced to awkwardly pour it from the bottle and you can’t really spoon out smaller quantities at a time unless you’re using very narrow tools. It’s a relatively minor thing and it’d take practically no effort to decant this into a different container for easier access. Nitpick with the container provided aside, it does the job it’s advertised for and I’ve had no problems using this in place of my older batch of SLS from another brand/source. The current price of £9.32 is in the ballpark of what I'd expect to pay for around a hundred-ish grams of this particular surfactant. Though I'm roughly guessing the quantity as the only measurement given is 240ml or 8.11 liquid ounces for some strange reason.

Easy to use to create your own cosmetics for the bath or shower. Watched lots of YouTube to get ideas. Yes you are going to need more ingredients, but it’s fun to do. The kids loved creating their own bubble bath. This is more for diyers than for someone starting a business. Overall good.

Good for DIY personal care products if you know what you’re doing - from bath bombs to bubble bars. Works well as a foaming agent in shampoos and body washes, but as expected, it’s a strong detergent, so not for sensitive skin. A basic, no-frills chemical that does what it’s meant to do - recommended!
