USB Document Camera for Teachers, Webcam/Doc Camera for Classroom with A3 Format, 3-Level LED Lights, Image Invert, Fold, Dual mic for Mac OS, Windows, Zoom, OBS Work with Distance Learning

I had to get this for my WGU courses. It’s a great buy and connects well to my Mac. It is easy to set up and use. Picture is good, but the proctor always asks me to take a pic of my ID on my phone and then hold it up to the camera. It came with a small USB adapter for computers that may need that.

It doesn't require any driver or software installation, just plug it into my MacBook and Windows, both worked instantly. I'm not sure the 5 MP resolution is good as a document scanner, but I bought it to use it as a web cam for meetings. and it's great to be used that way, because it has a solid base and flexible arm, so the web cam can be positioned at any place. It totally solved the traditional screen top webcams' pain that when we look at the screen, we are not looking at the web cam during meeting. The flexible arm of this web cam made it very easy to move the web cam around the middle of the screen so that we can look at the screen while making the person on the other side of the meeting also feels like we are looking at the web cam.

It is very useful tool for classroom work. I tried to connect it to my computer, and it is simple to set up and use, and the adjustable camera angle is very convenient. Good to use.

So, there’s a small learning curve to setting this thing up but once you figure it out, it’s super easy. I purchased this item as it is the approved webcam for WGU proctored exams. I feel like they are overpriced for what they are and what they are used for, but it is what it is. I have no real complaints about it other than it can be awkward to set up at first.

Very easy to use and truly plug-and-play. No software or drivers are required. The image is clear, and the color quality is surprisingly good. It even works well as a webcam for video meetings, which was a nice bonus. The camera also feels solid and well built. The body and stand seem sturdy and stable, unlike some cheap document cameras that feel flimsy or overly plastic. Overall, it is simple, convenient, has good image quality, and feels durable. I’m very satisfied with it.

I purchased this to use for WGU proctored exams based on other comments. This camera is not a good option for that purpose. I also found it's performance lacking for it's intended purpose of document scanning. I was able to use the camera a total of 3 times, and now it's unrecognizable by any windows machine. All troubleshooting attempts fail to get it working again. Honestly very disappointed in this purchase and wish I would have gone with the webcam 1000 from the start. I was in the middle of exam verification when it went out, meaning I was unable to take the exam

I purchased this camera due to the external webcam requirement for WGU nursing. This camera meets all the specification requirements for WGU. I’ve had no issues with the functionality/use or any of my proctored exams. I debated between this camera and the webcam 1000 recommended on the webcam list provided by WGU. If you are unsure which webcam to buy, buy this one. This webcam has 3 LED light settings, exposure adjustment, an inverted mirroring function, and an autofocus function; the webcam 1000 lacks all these features. In addition, this webcam looks better overall and seems to be of higher quality than the webcam 1000. The length of the neck is longer, and the camera itself is a higher resolution. It's also cheaper than the webcam 1000 while getting it delivered faster with Prime.

I am very satisfied with this camera! The image quality is crisp and clear. My favorite feature is the dedicated physical Auto Focus button—it makes refocusing effortless when switching documents or adjusting positions. It smooths out motion well at 60Hz without lag, and the color accuracy is noticeably richer and better than my laptop's built-in camera. Highly recommended!

Très pratique.

PAKOTOO USB Document Camera A3 Format 3 Level LED It works well with Linux Mint operation and OBS studio application. It takes nicely 1920x1080 video in 30 FPS. A few times I got audio issue, the recording started chopping repeatedly after like 20 minutes. but this could be the OS or the recording application's fault. I cannot tell it for sure, unfortunately. Its stem nicely firm and holds well the head.

I'm really impressed with this bit of tech. My requirements were 1) an upgrade on my existing MacBook air built in camera, 2) a flexible and height adjustable camera and 3) a built-in light It does everything I need brilliantly. The camera required no set up and was immediately detectable once I plugged it in. The 4 different buttons all do their thing easily. 1) to adjust the led brightness (near the lens), another to autozoom (not needed much but seems to work where there are significant distance changes), one to mirror image (perhaps this is useful for sharing text) and another to change the exposure setting which is actually useful to brighten up the whole 'picture' where needed. I like how it comes with a USB and USB C cable options, the microphone is much batter than my built in macbook one and it's very easy to adjust quickly if needed. It's easy to bend and store away in its box and there is also a velcro cable tidy for the usb cord so it's easy to keep it all neatly tucked away when not in use. The product exceeded my expectations across the board and I can't give this anything less than 5 stars. I think it's the perfect solution if you are unhappy with any aspect of your lighting, picture quality, flexibility, microphone of your existing webcam set up. I really wasn't expecting the level of features and quality for the little money it cost.
