What this does is make the NAvage think a salt pod is in place so you can just use water and your own salt in the reservoir. No more having to rely on finding pods. Saves some cash as well

It's a 100-mile round trip for me to get to a national drugstore which sells the Navage brand salt pods. These reusable gizmos will come in handy when the summer winds kick up dust and pollen and there isn't a drugstore across town for me. You are responsible for making your own saline solution using distilled or filtered water (I still just use tap water!), then insert one of these gadgets in your Navage unit and it works as if you had inserted one of the original salt pods in the foil container. Caution: potential buyers need to be aware this Chinese company is calling their product "silicone salt pods"--understand they are NOT similar to the original Navage salt pods at all, just an auxiliary item you can substitute to keep on using your nasal care device when you are running low on the salt pods which came with your original purchase.
