elago Silicone Case for AirPods Pro 2

I returned the other "basic case" that comes with a lanyard (due to the substituted lanyard) and purchased this -- because all I need is a simple cover for the AirPods Pro 2gen Charging Case. And that's simply and effectively what this is. This is a two part silicone cover for the charging case that allows you access to the reset/pairing button, you can see the charge status LED through the rubber, can access the Lightning port if you need to, and doesn't cover the new-for-2gen speaker port. The finish is "grippy" so the charging case is less likely to slip from your fingertips. Mission accomplished. I appreciate the addition of a dust cover for the Lightning port because the AirPods Pro charging case supports Qi and MagSafe charging. Small magnets in the case will position it properly on a MagSafe charger, even an Apple Watch charger. No need to uncover that port ever again. The speaker port is uncovered so the case's SUPER LOUD ping sound from the Find My app blasts through. (I dunno why it's so loud. To be heard from inside luggage? To be heard when you have AirPods in your ears with ANC enabled? 🤷) Though a couple of double-sided adhesive strips are included to hold the top cover piece on, I didn't need it. I recommend it if you're going to let your AirPods case rattle around inside bags, purses, etc. The finish is soft silicone that makes the case sit more reliably in your hand. The integrated lanyard loop is exposed so you can fit your own lanyard loop (e.g. camera hand strap, multimedia player leash, etc.). As with many other Elago products the fit and finish is near-perfect. I was able to position the cover pieces to leave a precise, even 1mm gap between top and bottom using a plastic cleaning tool or a Swiss Army Knife toothpick. (DO NOT use a metal tool for this). Just fit the two pieces to meet, then gently introduce a gap with the thin tool working around from one side to the other. For the price, probably the best simple, basic charging case cover you can buy. Thank you Elago!

For the reviewers saying it doesn’t fit, it does appear that way when you first put it on. It just takes some stretching and massaging to get everything lined up perfectly (it’s grippy silicone). The fit is very snug, no concerns there. The silicone is very soft and has a pleasant feel. The blue glow looks amazing, love the color. Wireless charging works perfect, the MagSafe magnets just aren’t strong enough to hold it in place with the case on. I just use a wireless charger that sits flat on the desk and have no issues. Highly recommend.

Here are my observations after using this case for about 2 weeks. I ordered this case before the Gen 2 Airpods came out. - Fits super well - Rubber is thick - Magsafe doesn't work - Feels super high quality. For my last airpods I bought a much worse case from a shady website. In comparison, this case feels well made and seems like it will last. The lower reviews of this product seem to say the case doesn't fit the airpods well. Maybe they got faulty products, but the case fits so tight that it's hard to put on. I'm guessing some of them had trouble putting the case on and stretched out the material or something. The tightness is nice, feels secure. Might give an update after a few more months.

At the time I purchased these (late September, 2022), there simply weren't many options on the market yet for the APP2, and my expectations at this price point were not high. That said, I received this case today -- earlier than estimated, I might add -- and am pleasantly surprised! The case fits absolutely perfectly, including *exact* cut-outs for the speaker holes/vent, lightning connector (with a built-in dust cover), and lanyard loop. This elago silicon case maintains a nice, tight fit over the APP2 charging case, with no unwanted movement, and is nice and grippy. I previously used a Spigen Urban case for my original APP's, and the new version wasn't yet available at the time I purchased this case; I like this one so much, though, that I might just keep it and forgo Spigen altogether. For the price, definitely worth the purchase!

Fits perfect. And looks great.

Fits perfect and looks awesome. You do need to massage the silicone case to make it fit perfectly, but better too tight than too loose over time.

I ordered two of the same cases, but one arrived in completely different packaging and with different accessories. This one included a carabiner, while the other case did not. The lid also appears to have a manufacturing defect — it was cut unevenly and sits crooked on the case. Very disappointing, especially since the other case I ordered arrived correctly

Recommend. Doesn’t slip off.

I recently purchased the elago Silicone Case for my Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation, and I'm impressed with its quality. The case fits perfectly, allowing easy access to the front LED and supporting wireless charging without any issues. The black color adds a sleek look, and the silicone material feels durable and protective. Overall, a great investment for keeping my AirPods Pro safe and stylish.

Simple, efficace et pas chère bien adapté pour les AirPods Pro de 2eme génération
