It works as it should and makes preparing your kava quick and easy.

This is a great device for making a few shells of kava on the go. I got 5 or so drinks out of it at a time (in my own cup, not the lid). The bottle and lid are constructed well and feel sturdy. The shaker ball is easy to unscrew and fill. I filled it halfway with ground kava root and filled the bottle with water and shook. Took about 30 seconds to 1 minute to shake into a good kava mix. I took this on vacation where I knew there wouldn’t be anywhere local to get kava. It was nice to have kava to drink while away from home.

Pretty good. Way easier than kneading but it’s easy to cross thread the cheap plastic ball and the cap leaks pretty bad. Kinda junky really — but still beats kneading.

Great mixer for single serving kava. Easy mix. Easy cleanup. Just sit back and take me back to my roots. Bottle is study and thick plastic. When motor skills slow down and you drop on way to sink, rest assured it’ll be intact for your next mix.

I don’t understand how thickness, or warmth relate to this product. That said - for making kava at home, there is no easier method IMHO. I’m about good design - and this is excellent design. First, it’s effective. It gets the kavalactones out of the root so you can say BULA! Second, it’s easy to use: two loos tablespoons in the ball, seal it up. Add room temp water, shake and pour. Third, it’s culturally sensitive. The shaker includes a cap that becomes your shell. It allows for the safe ingestion of kava while respecting the history from which the design sprouts. I appreciate it, and maybe you will too. Bula!
