The Marathon 4.10/3.50-4" Flat Free, All Purpose Utility Tire on Wheel with a 4" Centered Hub has proven to be a reliable choice for my Toro tractor. These tires are designed to be solid, which means they won’t go flat like traditional air-filled tires, providing peace of mind during operation. However, it’s important to note that this durability comes at a cost. When navigating uneven terrain or bumps, the ride quality can be significantly harsher compared to the original air tires I had previously installed. While the solid construction eliminates the risk of punctures and leaks, the trade-off is a less forgiving ride. The lack of air cushioning means that every bump and dip is transmitted directly to the tractor, making for a more jarring experience. This is particularly noticeable during longer periods of use, where comfort becomes a key factor in overall performance and user satisfaction. As I prepare for the spring season, I am considering transitioning back to a wheel with air-filled tires. This would not only enhance the comfort of the ride but also provide a smoother experience when tackling rougher terrains. While the Marathon utility tires serve their purpose well in terms of durability and reliability, I am eager to find a replacement that balances the benefits of solid construction with the comfort of air. Overall, these tires are a solid choice for anyone prioritizing flat-free convenience, but those seeking a cushier ride may want to explore air-filled options instead.

Would have given 5 stars if the fit for the grease fittings was better. Will have to check on slight oversize to perhaps get some that will stay tight on the hubs. Other than that love not having to air the silly things up every time we mow our yard (approx 3 acres worth). New wheels, axle bolts and finish mower ready to go.

I bought two of these to put on my 42 inch Toro Zero Turn Mower. They for perfect and shipped fast. The problem is that the rubber came off the rim within the first 5 minutes of use on one of them No problem I requested a return which I was granted. The replacement came on fast and as expected just like the first. The problem. This one did the same thing. So basically out of 3 tires only 1 is functioning still. Don't buy these unless your yard is super flat with zero bumps or holes in it.

Tire good. Bearings crap. We have purchased and put 3 pairs of these on a big job and we have replaced all the bearings within a month.

I have a 72" rear mount finish mower. It does a great job in spite of being abused. The only shortcoming (other than the unit being super heavy) is the pneumatic tires. In my environment, the tires encounter quite a bit of side load and it's not hard to pop one off the bead. Inevitably the tube gets trashed before I realize there's a problem. Replacements never seem to last so I wanted a better option. Enter these Marathon wheels. You'll notice they have some weight to them. Once they're on the mower, the weight doesn't seem to matter. With the 3/4" ID bearings, the tire is a direct bolt on. 10minutes start to finish including starting the tractor to lift the mower up. I still have two more pneumatic tires on the mower, and I'll be replacing them with these soon.

The size was perfect for my 76 bolins lawnmower and it won't go flat on me even if I hit a nail. No more flat tires for me.
