I've found this book to be an amazing resource for pushing my makeup skills. The full-color pictures are really helpful and show amazing detail. Not sure what the other reviewer was talking about with black-and-white pics.I am learning so many new techniques and ways of applying prosthetics. Can't wait for my order of more latex to arrive so I can get started creating my own monsters!

While the information in the book is solid, all of the photos in the book are in black and white. Impossible to see color, highlighting, or details of the work. Makes a book on special effects and makeup useless!

Hello, I am the author of this book and I would like to reach out to my readers. Due to a misprint, some black and white paperback copies were published my mistake. This book should be in full color. If you got a black and white copy, please return it and ask that it be replaced with a color copy. In my opinion it's a five star book, but I'm slightly biassed.

This is a special effects make-up book ( costing over $39) and ALL THE PICTURES ARE IN BLACK AND WHITE - HEAD SLAP!!! Definitely pass this one up!!! USELESS!!!
