Is this the correct product to use?** A: Hello, Yes KILZ Adhesion is a good choice for this project. Make sure to allow the primer to dry for 24 hours to ensure it achieves the best adhesion before top coating. Good luck with your project! **Q: Has anyone used this primer over ugly granite then painted the vanity? Also what type of paint and sealer did you use over it** A: Hello! KILZ Adhesion will stick to granite but it is not FDA approved for surfaces that will have contact with food. If this is for a bathroom, this primer is perfect and can be top coated with KILZ TRIBUTE (available on Amazon) or another high-quality interior paint. **Q: Does this adhere and work well for laminate kitchen cabinets?** A: I tested this product on laminate that was cleaned and very lightly sanded (320 grit) and on a piece that was cleaned only. As a long as the surface is clean I don’t think the sanding was necessary. **Q: Can i use kilz adhesion as a primer over sheetrock when i am going to tile over? vs sanding the paint and tiling?** A: Depends on where you are doing the tile. If the paint is in good condition just clean it. If it's gloss sand the sheen off then clean it. If it is bare sheetrock then yes it will seal the sheetrock and help prevent moisture penetrating. If it's near a tub or shower then it's better to install cement board. ## Frequently Bought Together - KILZ Adhesion Primer, Interior/Exterior, 1 Gallon - Pro Grade, Paint Brushes, 5-Piece, Paint Brush Set: Flat & Angle Brushes for Latex and Oil Paints, Stains, Interior & Exterior Home Improvement - Mister Rui Foam Paint Roller, 8 Pack 4 Inch Paint Roller Kit, Complete 4" Mini Paint Roller Kit with Small Foam Paint Roller Covers, Frame, Tray and Liner for Professional Painting Results --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://guatemala.desertcart.com/products/270419650-l211101-adhesion-high-bonding-interior-latex-primer-sealer-white-1](https://guatemala.desertcart.com/products/270419650-l211101-adhesion-high-bonding-interior-latex-primer-sealer-white-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Guatemala* *Store origin: GT* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
