Safe design
My farrier recommended this brand due to the design: solid base with round edges. My arthritic drafts have a hard time holding up their feet for picking/treatments so this helps out tremendously between farrier trims! First day I used it, my big Percheron stamped his foot and knocked this stand backwards, hitting his leg on it. Rounded edges=no problem!! Super safe, lightweight, worth the investment.

Great knee saver
Great knee saver! Bought this for a friend of mine that's a farrier after he had a knee surgery he was able to still do his job and really loves this product. (A farrier is a specialist in equine hoof care, including the trimming and balancing of horses' hooves and the placing of shoes on their hooves)
