Great stool with excellent raise/lower function
I was very pleased with this. The set up/installation was very easy and honestly, it was higher quality than I expected for the price. The lower and raised function works great.

Seat not great for adult size, even very small person, but nice stool nonetheless
This stool is cute and functional, but is more a good seat for a child than an adult. My mother is a small woman (around 100lbs or less), and this is still a little small for her. Mom wanted a small, very comfortable office chair/stool with a footring. The spaces in which she wants to use the chair are limited, so the width of the base of the chair needs to stay around this width, but no more than 20", including the wheels. However, I don't want something configured in a way that will cause the chair to tip easily and cause her injury. As for comfort, the padding is adequate, but this isn't going to be something to sit in for long periods of time, because it is so small. The backrest part of this stool is not high enough to provide any real lumbar support. The backrest also ends up kind of making the seating area of the stool smaller depth-wise than what it would be without it, which makes it far less comfortable. The wheels which were included are not rolling easily on my mother's flooring but may not cause anyone else problems. Better wheels can be easily purchased to replace the included ones, if necessary, though that increases the overall cost of the chair. The chair was easy enough to assemble and came with all the required tools and parts. However, I also customized this stool with a different hydraulic/pneumatic lift that would reduce the lowest setting of the seat height by about 2 inches. After we assembled this stool and realized how small the seat was, I wanted to try to see if a different seat option (one I already had from a different chair) would work, but it was impossible to pull the stool seat apart from the pneumatic (hydraulic?) lift. I thought about using a wrench, but didn't want to ruin the pneumatic lift without even a day of use. So, I would recommend knowing what you're going to do before full assembly, if you plan to customize the pneumatic lift or seat. If I had it to do over again, I would have sat on the seat to try it before putting it on the base. I think the base of the chair could work for what we need. A chair base just like this one, but an inch or two wider, might be even better. The ideal chair would be: a chair base in this footring style an inch or two wider in diameter than this one, with a plush round stool seat between 14" to 15" in diameter and 2.5" to 3" thick, with a detachable higher plush backrest for lumbar support, with a seat height starting around 17" at the lowest setting, and blue or black in color, for a similar reasonable price. However, this is a nice stool if you are prepared for how small it really is and would be especially nice for a child's desk. UPDATE 25 September 2024: I sit in this stool often at my mom's house and it is still comfortable, but I don't sit in it for hours at a time. It is comfortable for short periods of time. I don't notice the small seating area as much as I had thought I might. I also upgraded the wheels to some similar to rollerblade wheels. Search [8T8 Replacement Chair Caster Wheels 2'', Heavy Duty Wheels with Plug-in Stem 7/16''X7/8'',Quiet & Smooth Rolling, No Chair Mat Needed, Safe for Hardwood Carpet Tile Floors,Set of 5 (Black, 2 inch)] and those are the ones we used. They even offer them in different colors should you want to coordinate with the seat cushion.

LOVE!
This is by far the cutest little thing I've ever seen. It was very east to put together, very light weight and actually comfortable! Rolls across thick carpet like a dream too! It is small though. I'm 5'3 and 113 lb and it fits me just fine, but I can see how someone bigger than me could complain about it being too small. Looking at it when I first put it together, I wasn't even sure if I could fit on it, but I did with a little room to spare. Great purchase and the color is just like the picture!

Comfy chair that rolls around…
I bought this chair for my art classroom. I often end up spending almost 8 hours straight on my feet without sitting down (maybe except lunch). I have concrete floors and try to wear shoes, but some days we’re getting hard to walk by the end of the day. I needed a chair to sit in and roll around my room to confer with students if my feet were hurting. This chair is PERFECT for that! I can sit low and work on large scale projects on the floor and I can also pump the chair up higher to roll around and work with students. It’s sturdy and was easy to put together. Lower lumbar support and not full back though - which is fine with me.

Good little stool for the price
A good little stool for the price. When I say, "little," it really is a tad on the smallish side, but it does work well for my needs—a good adjustable height stool for playing pedal steel guitar. See the photo: (1) Yellow KKTONER stool on the top; (2) Black "standard sized" stool on the bottom. 14.4 inches diameter is pretty small for average build people in the USA. I'm just 5'7" with an average sized derrière for my height, and for me, another two inches in diameter would be more comfortable. Anyone who is larger/ wider than me in the seat department will have a hard time keeping it all on board. By contrast, a similarly designed stool from Costco is about 17 inches in diameter and that ample width feels more comfortable. The yellow color matches my music studio perfectly. The seat material did arrive with a couple of pinhead sized black marks that appear permanent. Although not thrilled about it, is not worth the cost and hassle of returning. The stool does wobble a tiny bit on its post, but not horribly so. The pneumatic action is somewhat weak also, depressing about 1-2 inches when I sit on it—and I'm only 160 lbs, as opposed to the stated 300 lb max load. Padding? Literally not much to say here, because there really isn't much padding at all. Otherwise, easy to assemble and quite portable. I'm generally satisfied.

amazing stool, suits my purposes well.
timed myself and took around 7-8 minutes to put together. that's how easy putting together this stool. i'm still in awe and it's been over a week haha. everything works perfectly. it goes up and down easily. it rolls around and has that cute little back rest. i would say i learned really early to keep my weight centered on the stool, if you need to tip forward, or side to side to reach something downwards, then the stool might tip over! but i havent had any problems with falling off now that i know that. i don't regret getting this stool at all tho. it works perfectly.

DO NOT BUY IT
It looks nice, cute and shiny on pictures. What you'll get is a different story - rough finish, incredibly bad welding, rust inside tubes. That shiny finish is not nearly close to what you'll get - very rough surface, kind of sandpaper, with rusty spots here and there. Take a look at pics for more details. When assembled on first use (kid, 13 yo) it bent a bit on top plate and bottom and, on top of being VERY shaky from a beginning, now it feels more like roller coaster than a chair. If it were $15 item I would say "You have what you paid for" But for $50 it's a ripoff . I saw bunch cheap made stools and chairs before, but never in such a bad shape. Would love to put -1 star, but unfortunately one star is a minimum I can put...
