From my research, I noticed: * Many offer triangle, circular disks, and square shaped flares. * Some offer various colors blue/red, red, blue, orange and white. * Most have about 9 modes of flashing patters and they can withstand a vehicle driving over the flare unit. * Most offer a white LED light to help you replace a flat tire or look under the hood. * Various kits are offered some 2 or 4 or 8 or 12 LED Flares per set, and of course the quantity determines the price per flare unit this set was $6.50/unit, but then again how many flare units are satisfactory. Remember these require 3 sets of AA which may not be included. This particular set Included 4 LED flares batteries included, the container, gloves, and screw driver to replace the batteries. My plan is to place on flare magnetically on the car, 2nd about 15' back, 3rd about 30' back and the 4th about 50' back from the car to alert drivers to move away from the car as they pass. Review: Bright, well made. - You don't have to completely remove the screws to replace the batteries, just turn them out a little, then pull up the lid. Great design, the lid fits inside the "box" which holds all the components, an O-ring on the lid keeps it sealed. Buttons are easy to operate. Good having a flashlight on opposite side of the hook, can hang it like a lantern. I will probably get more for gifts. (PS: I advise not using Duracell batteries in ANYTHING, they always leak!)

Brighter than the other round LED road flares
These are brighter and more noticeable compared to the round LED flares, I own three for comparison. I like that thereโs a separate on and off button and mode button for the flash pattern. Whatever flash pattern you pick, it stay on that mode even if you turn it on and off, so you donโt have to cycle through the rest of them. The white light is much brighter w/o the blue hue. I took one star off because when I received the package, all came with the battery installed and all of them were dead. In conclusion, I recommend buying as an emergency road flare. They are brighter and more noticeable. Price wise, they are cheaper compared to the competitor because you get 4 flares instead of three for almost the same price.

Comparing 3 different lights to be use by the fire department.
There are numerous style of lights like this out on the market. The fire department that I am on wanted to test several different style of lights to determine what is the best bang for the buck. We use devices like these on teh freeway on a regular basis to try to stay alive while working at auto accidents, so this kind of thing is important to us. The SlimK Square lights was the obvious standout. It was up against the SlimK round disc and the Aervoe. In full disclosure, the Aervoe light was red and the SlimK lights were amber, but I don't think that is significant. The SlimK Square light uses four LEDs per side which means it is emitting a bigger footprint and shining more light toward the traffic. In the pictures and video the left light is the Aervoe, the middle light is the SlimK disc, and the right light is the SlimK Square. The SlimK round disc seemed to be the weakest. It has 12 LEDs around the light, but realistically only one of those LEDs is pointing at the oncoming traffic. The Aervoe utilizes three LEDs per side and was nearly as bright as the SlimK Square lights, but the price was much higher. Long story short, you can purchase the package of four SlimK square lights in a protective case for $27.98 and you have the brightest light that we could find at a very reasonable price.

Should Work Great
I have, thankfully, not had to use these yet. I live in a rural area with very crooked, hilly, 2 lane, 55 mph roads with no shoulder to pull off on if you have a problem, but lots of traffic. I have come over a hill or around a curve and someone is broken down in the middle of the road. If they had these I would probably see the flashing lights and know something was in the road ahead. Glad I got them.

Great LED flare!
I did a lot of research on what LED flares I wanted to buy in building an emergency kit for my car. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these flare. And 4 for 30 bucks?! Itโs a deal. They are blinding bright and have multiple patterns, also waterproof and float in water. The manual says batteries are already installed which is false but Iโm willing to overlook that fact because these are quality flares you cannot beat the price!

The Good, the Bad, and the Cheap!
We all know they did not make these and that the the sticker on the reflector and the printed insert is just them packing a Chinese product. You can find the same thing for a more expensive price on amazon. But hey, these are the cheapest and you get 4 not 3. They do NOT arrive in the heavy duty protective case as show in the product pictures, but rather a clear and cheap plastic case. Might be okay normally, but mine arrived broken as you can see, so it was useless and will be throw away, not even a recyclable plastic. There are NO Batteries, so don't expect any! i put in 12 lithium batteries ($16) which i would have upgraded to anyway. There are 2 grey gloves not one camo, but they might be reflective, so maybe good. No screwdriver included despite the pictures. The product is cheap, and should work fine. i will not test mine by submerging it or running over it. i'll keep it and not send it back, but the only thing worth anything is the LED Flare and you will add another $16 putting in decent batteries worthy of an emergency device. Do not expect ANYTHING else and you will not be disappointed. i knew they would be cheap, but did not expect to get lowballed but all the cheap accessory substitutions and missing batteries. 3 stars max. if they break in use i will be back to lower my stars. if the manufacturer wants to fix, replace, upgrade the case and give me batteries, and a screwdriver i might give them 4. Just remember it is CHEAP, don't expect anything in the pictures!

Nice bright emergency beacon
Packaging is nice, batteries went in easy, light is bright with a lot of strobe options. So far good! I haven't had to use them yet though.... that's a good thing. The instructions are an obvious translation, and not checked, but I can over look that.
