Make way for her royal majesty! The royal storybook queen costume is long burgundy dress with luscious faux ermine fur around the collar and sleeves. It features cream colored under sleeves and underskirt inset which are decorated with gold lace trim. It is accessorized with two gold jeweled cameos with connecting costume pearls and a gold colored crown. Review: Costume was well designed, however my daughter got an allergic reaction with spots all over her arms. Review: I bought this outfit for a Medieval night. It arrived in good time and the quality is really good for a fancy dress outfit. Although I used my own Tiara, the crown it came with was also good quality and much better than expected. My husband had ordered an outfit for himself and the crown that came with that one was very cheap in comparison. The 'jewels' definitely add a feature to the dress - but they are a bit fiddly as they come apart easily. As people have mentioned, although the dress looks great from the front, it is very plain on the back, but as you sit down a lot in the evening - it wasn't an issue. A point to note is that the sleeves are easily caught on chairs and drinks as you pass by!!! It resulted in a goblet of red wine being splashed all down the front of my costume. The next day, I hand washed the dress using a stain remover and the red wine came out quickly and easily and it looks as good as new. I am petite - 5 foot 1.5 inches and the length of the dress with my heeled shoes was perfect. My heels were probably about 3 inches. I am usually a UK 8 and I ordered a Medium. I was a bit worried if the size would be right as the same outfit can be bought on their online store and they say a size Small is 8-10, but the desertcart listing says a Medium is a size 8-10. So this is confusing and worried me whether it would be the right fit. I took a chance and ordered the medium. It fitted absolutely fine - slightly large if anything for me so would definitely fit a size 8 and a size 10. The material is quite stretchy - so this will help if you are unsure which size to go for.
